A visit to the Santa Bárbara Castle is a must. Located at the top of Mount Benacantil, facing the sea. It is one of the largest medieval forts in Spain and offers the most spectacular views of the city.
The panoramic view from El Postiguet Beach shows the ¿Cara del Moro¿ a curious projection in the shape of a human face.

A visit to Tabarca Island is a must for everyone who visits the Costa Blanca. It is the only inhabited island in the Autonomous Community of Valencia and is located opposite the city of Alicante, at eleven nautical miles and close to Cape Santa Pola.
In fact rather than an island it is a small archipelago, composed, besides Tabarca, of the islets of La Cantera, La Galera and La Nao.
