Cayo Coco owes its name to the abundant presence of the white ibis (popularly known as the coconut bird), and is also identified as "the island of the flamingos" due to the large colony of pink flamingos that live off the south of the Cayo and offer an unusual and unforgettable sight.

What to see?
The Cayos mainly offer one thing: Peace and relaxation on enviable beaches. One of the most famous ones is Playa de Pilar, a virgin beach at the end of the Cayo, which can be reached by taxi. It has calm, turquoise waters.
