The Tenerife Carnival: Tenerife's Carnival is one of the most famous in Spain. In February or March the Carnival revelry reaches every corner of the island, but the celebrations in Santa Cruz de Tenerife are of particular note.
Festivity of Our Lady of Candelaria:On February 2 the Canary Islands celebrate the day of their patron saint, Our Lady of Candelaria. People come from all over the island to take part in a procession around the square dedicated to the Saint.
Festivities of Our Lady of Carmen: On 16 July, the festivity of Our Lady of Carmen is celebrated in the towns of Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz.
