Spain

The 365 days of the calendar are great for discovering an equally vibrant, genuine and appealing destination at any time of the year.Spain is in the ranking of the world's three main tourist destinations and its fame and popularity are well deserved. With its almost 6,000 kilometres of coastline and its two archipelagos, one floating in Mediterranean waters and another volcanic one with an Atlantic heart, it is the perfect image of a sun and beach holiday.

Places of interest in Spain

Majorca

The largest of the Balearic Islands oozes Mediterranean essence. It is noticeable in its towns, traditions and pace of life. Majorca is a destination to disconnect from everything and escape to places as spectacular as Cala Portals Vells, Serra de Tramuntana (Tramuntana Mountain Range) or the Cuevas del Drach (Caves of Drach). Among the lively streets of Palma, its capital, and the silent afternoons of small towns such as Valldemossa, travellers have countless options with which to mark the pace of their stay.

Toledo

A short distance from Madrid and on the banks of the Tagus River, lies this medieval city which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Toledo, also known as the City of Three Cultures, is a reference point in the historical and cultural evolution of the entire Iberian Peninsula. The legacy of Christians, Jews and Muslims has made this small city of labyrinth streets and imposing stone constructions one of the most eclectic destinations in Castile-La Mancha.

Tenerife

The highest mountain in Spain is in the heart of this Atlantic island with breathtaking landscapes. From the top of the Teide, 3,718 metres high, practically all of the Canary Islands can be seen. A fantastic trekking experience that can be combined with other more relaxing activities, such as a day on the sandy beaches of the south, a cultural day in La Laguna, a World Heritage city, or a culinary trail stopping off at the popular guachinches, traditional establishments with wine and home-made food.

Lanzarote

As a Biosphere Reserve, the entire island is an example of sustainability and conservation of natural spaces. The contrasts of Lanzarote between the dark volcanic area of Timanfaya and the crystal clear waters of Papagayo or Playa Blanca are the main tourist attraction of an island full of interesting alternatives to spend an action-packed holiday with the family or a few days of relaxation as a couple in its stunning hotels and resorts.
